Spier wins Sustainable Tourism Award

Spier won the Sustainable Tourism Award at the Cape Winelands District Municipality Mayoral Tourism Awards in Stellenbosch on 21 September 2011.

This award celebrates the achievements of the Cape Winelands tourism industry role-players and showcases the best tourism entities, service excellence and the people behind it. The purpose of these awards is to acknowledge people that excelled, and continue to surpass expectations, within the Cape Winelands tourism fraternity.
 
This local award follows on the recent Doing it All award that Spier received in the 2011 Condé Nast Traveler World Savers awards, underscoring the value of Spier's investment in the environment, its people and its heritage.
