Bomas
The bomas on the South bank of the Eerste River are an expression of Spier’s philosophy and are ideal for events, seminars, small conferences and team building. Five separate spaces of varying sizes were built from materials naturally occurring on the estate. They are made from adobe bricks using a combination of clay, sand and straw, as well as wood generated from our invasive alien clearing programme. A system of screens made from local reeds fold back so that delegates can either be sheltered,or the space can be opened to the views of the river and mountains.
